The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Mahayuti alliance is set to sweep Mumbai as the counting of votes for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) election across all 23 designated centres is underway. The final outcome will be declared by today evening. As per officials, the counting process is being conducted in strict compliance with the guidelines of the Election Commission of India (ECI) with elaborate arrangements in place to ensure security, traffic management and maintenance of law and order.
